MOBIUS ACADEMY, KOTA DAMANSARA: Thursday (17th April 2025), 15 graduating students of Mobius Academy's Illustration Department hosted their final-year project presentation, which will be from 17th April 2025 (Thursday) to 19th April 2025 (Saturday) at Wu Gallery, Kota Damansara. 

The recent graduation showcase by Mobius Academy's illustration department was a vibrant celebration of young talent. The gallery space was filled with colorful, creative works that reflected the unique styles and voices of the graduating students.

Visitors were greeted with a wide variety of artwork, from hand-drawn illustrations and digital pieces like, character designs, anime, and short animations. Each display told its own story, offering a glimpse into the artist’s thoughts, experiences, and imagination.

Some pieces were lighthearted and fun, full of bold colors and quirky characters. Others took a more emotional or introspective approach, touching on themes like identity, memory, and personal growth.

The atmosphere was lively and inspiring. Guests wandered through the exhibition at their own pace, engaging with the art and often stopping to listen in on student presentations. Many left feeling impressed not just by the quality of the work, but by the thought and care behind it. But the highlight was:

The Students Presented Their Beautiful Work Infront of Our Eyes.

They presented their work to a panel of judges and guests from the industry. They shared their creative process, explained the ideas behind their projects, and received valuable feedback from professionals. It was a chance not only to showcase their art, but to engage in meaningful conversations about their future in the creative field. 

Rtist is also proud to have been part of the line of guest judges, together with Wu Gallery, as part of the students presentation, providing feedback and encouragement to the students based on real-world scenarios as a business owner looking for creative talents. 

Final year project showcases is also the gathering of major industrial players from the creative industry looking for up and coming creative talents. Representatives of Animasia-Studio (Left) and LemonSky (Right) were in attendance as well.

Mobius Academy's Illustration course FYP showcase was more than just a graduation event, the showcase was a powerful statement of what the next generation of illustrators is capable of. It was a space where art, ideas, and ambition came together, and where creativity clearly shown a bright future.
