Have you ever wondered what it feels like to navigate in darkness, relying solely on your other senses?

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to DIA for inviting us to embark on a journey of discovery at the "Dialogue in the Dark" experience. This unique adventure challenged our perceptions and fostered empathy in a profound and immersive way.

  • Navigating in Darkness

Guiding us through the journey in darkness were two visually impaired staff members, Michelle and Jason. They kindly led us through the darkness, sharing their insights and experiences along the way.

As we went deeper into the darkness, our senses became heightened, and our perceptions shifted. Simple tasks became challenges, and everyday actions took on new meanings.

Our experience at the "Dialogue in the Dark" left us with profound reflections and insights. We gained an understanding of the power of empathy, appreciation for diversity, and resilience of the human spirit. This experience reminded us that true growth comes from stepping out of our comfort zones and embracing the unknown.
