Hello, I am an editor, working at Chinese publisher for 9 years.
My tasks include:
- Looking for good authors, preparing marketing proposals and approaching potential authors.
- Developing a book from manuscript. Copy-editing and proofreading young adult novels, short stories, novels, comics, graphic novels, theatre novels, lifestyle books. Developed more than 50 titles of different book series and proofread more than 35 titles.
- Planning projects and activities related to publishing such as “Green Bookshelves” (adopting a book that is returned by bookstore), new book launching, reader’s trial reading.
