About Me
My name is Stephanie Boey and I am a journalist based in Kuala Lumpur. My career in media has brought me to write for international fashion titles such as BURO Malaysia and CLEO Malaysia, and locally-founded fashion portal Tongue in Chic. I have styling, video production and content creation experience under my belt. Aside from my love for aesthetics, I am passionate in reporting on progressive fashion news, sustainability and social issues.
I had the pleasure of attending the Copenhagen Fashion Summit in 2018 while representing CLEO, and am proud to say that we were the only Malaysian media in attendance. While at BURO, I successfully introduced multiple storytelling formats, both in written and visual media. I love telling Malaysian stories, and want to continue telling them. Not just in a patriotic sense, but also to introduce local talent to our fellow Malaysians.
