About Me

Working as a designer for the past 16 years has taught me that no matter what you work on, each project is different and unique in its own way. The clients, the audience and the design combine to create a relationship between the user and the brand. As a designer, I enjoy influencing that relationship with my strong design skills, aesthetic clarity and understanding of marketing principles.

I decided that I wanted a career in a design team that working together with other designers. I will work hard in a team. I have learnt that working in a team is important for creative inspiration; having that platform to bounce ideas off other workers provides a foundation from which I can push myself - and others - to our greatest potential. Communication and understanding of the project means we can solve the brief to the best of our abilities, guaranteeing that key ideas are executed properly and efficiently. Imagination can lead to limitless creation from an individual, so the potential of a team is unparalleled.

I learned to balance my creative vision with the limitations of designing for multiple task, for which there is no one size fits all solution. From directing photo shoots to designing adverts, my role within the company encompassed many areas including corporate branding, brochure production, print design and other design projects as required. I have designed for different industry companies, including the Property Industry, Healthcare Industry, Beauty Industry, F&B Industry and Avertising Industry. Each experience has helped me grow as a senior de signer.

In addition to graphic design, I’ve mastering the Macintosh and PC platform. I enjoy learning new programs and methods, so when I am not working you will normally find me scouring the Internet for new design tools and tutorials. I enjoy learning from my peers and I keep up to date with the latest methods. Aside from the usual Adobe standards like InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, I use QuarkXpress, AutoCAD, and several web tools and more.
