About Me
Wai Khong is an Illustrator / Doodler / Designer who loves Art & Craft.
He has begun doodling for many years where he explores more of his arts in recent years.
He was graduated from Birmingham City University, UK with a Master of Arts in Visual
Communication, in the year of 2005.
He is now the Head of Department for Digital Media Design Faculty in The One Academy Penang.
He recently works on Arduino, and new media as teaching Dynamic interactivity – out of the box
interaction.
He loves to explore drawing and painting in acrylic, inking, oil paint, mixed media, digital colouring of
his hand drawn / ink illustration works.
His works get to be published in Asia Illustrators Collections 2016, 2017 and 2018. His works were
also being featured in Batugether Art Exhibition 2016 and the previous Penang Art Competition 2016.
His latest works won 2nd place in “Shark and Friends” competition, organized by Shark Savers
Malaysia.
He was also the Penang Open Art 2018 winner – with his works called “Dreams – Sound & Keyboard Installation” – a Multi-disciplinary Arts with Illustration and New Media.
