About Me

I have been a children’s book illustrator for Pustaka Dasar Jaya Sdn Bhd which is a publishing house based Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for one and a half years (2019-2020). During that time, I have worked on character and environment design, storyboarding as well as the final colouring of several series of children’s storybooks. I love creating both stylized and realistic illustration styles even though I have been gravitating towards a more stylized look in my works recently. Prior to working for Pustaka Dasar Jaya Sdn Bhd, I was a junior 3d modeler and texture artist at VHQ Media Sdn Bhd for two years (2015-2017). During my time there, I worked on television commercials and films.

I have an advanced diploma in illustration from Clazroom Academy, Malaysia (2017-2018) and a WSQ diploma in Animation from 3dsense Media School, Singapore (2014) with a specialization in 3d modelling. Both courses have prepared me the skills in drawing, digital rendering, basic animation and 3d modelling. I am familiar with the Adobe Photoshop and Blender. I use the Blender software specifically to enhance my illustrations.
