Rtist Malaysia is proud to be a media partner for the Asia Pacific University - Final Year Design Showcase, which is on-going, from November 4th to 6th, 2024 at APU Atrium Level 3 from 10AM to 5PM.
This round of APU's Final Year Design Showcase is the last of its kind for the remainder of 2024, and it's themed, "Wanderlust Horizons". Showcasing that creativity and exploration come together if we map out a course towards horizons filled with endless possibilities.
This exciting event showcases the final year projects (FYP) of 46 talented students from the School of Media Arts & Design (SOMAD) at Asia Pacific University.
The exhibition showcases a diverse array of creative projects from talented young artists, spanning digital advertising, animation (2D & 3D), visual effects and Industrial Design. This event not only celebrates their hard work but also fosters appreciation for digitally inclined designing and connected a community of creative minds.
Here, we'll be showcasing some of the exhibitors who will be there the next 3 days.
Chan Yian Zheng - 2D Animated Film
Yian Zheng specialises in 2D Drawings and animation, and is part of the BA(Hons) in Animation course.
Ungku Eisya Emeera - Digital Advertising
Ungku Emeera specialises in creating branding guidelines, and is part of the BA(Hons) in Digital Advertising course.

Amna Zaka - Digital Advertising
Amna specialises in creating branding guidelines too, and is featuring a character design for this showcase. She is part of the BA(Hons) in Digital Advertising course.
Alloysius Voon Chin Lai - Industrial Design
Alloysius interest us with a pretty good looking & easy to use mobile grocery cart as part of his final year project. Alloysius is from BA(Hons) Industrial Design.
There were other students showcasing from other courses, such as, BA(Hons) in Visual Effects and various Diploma Creative Courses.

For the next 3 days (November 4th to 6th), these students will be showcasing their work, alongside some fun activities on the side. If you're ever in Asia Pacific University, do drop by the showcase and connect with these designers.
At the same time, you can collect a "Passport" and collect stamps while visiting the students' booths. Quite an interesting journey right there.
