About Me

TRANSLATOR ( ENG/BM - CHI) ; WRITER(ONLY CHI)

I am Wing Ng, a Malaysia-based freelance writer, translator, ghostwriter, and copywriter with a Degree in Journalism from National Chengchi University of Taiwan, and a Master of Business Administration from SEGi University, Malaysia.

I have always been naturally inquisitive, excited to meet people, love to listen to people telling their fascinating stories, and discover the truth behind mysteries, and these qualities have led me to become a writer. I am well-versed in both traditional and simplified Chinese.

My writing career began as a business writer in a well-known Malaysian Chinese daily, Sin Chew Daily, since 2009. I loved writing stories for the newspaper and found great satisfaction in conveying timely and inspirational stories for the people of Malaysia to read about.

I have been freelancing since 2015, when I planned to become a mother. Being a freelance writer gave me more flexibility to bring up my child, and at the same time, opened doors to a whole new world of endless possibilities to explore. My personal journey into the world of freelance writing has been refreshingly challenging and rewarding, and I look forward to more interesting projects in the future.

Through the years, I have found great satisfaction working with several business magazines, PR agencies and brands like Watsons, Honestbee, Sunway, Didadee, and SenHeng, to name just a few. I also write articles for Shang Hai Business Magazine (part of the The Star Publications group) and The Page.
