About Me
Hello! My name is Hafizah, and I am a full-time UITM Animation Diploma student. I'm in my fourth semester of the course. I mostly specialize on character development and design, as well as storyboarding. I enjoy creating storylines, characters, and world building, and I find that I thrive when I'm designing or creating characters because I feel as If I'm bringing them to life and giving them a world to live in!
Since I was a youngster, I have taken art very seriously. Every time we had art class in high school, I was definitely the teacher's favorite. I've spent the most of my life in Kuala Lumpur. So I'm used to the hustle and bustle of the city.
I believe that this has had a significant impact on much of my art work, particularly in terms of its modernity; for example, I frequently utilize bright lighting and dramatic shadows in my drawings, which remind me of the bright lights near KLCC, which I can see every night from my window. I also utilize a lot of red and brown tones, which contrast nicely with the dramatic lighting in my works

I was working as an Art teacher and conducted workshop classes to student, from a young age to older students. Most classes usually range from 2-5 students. But I did conduct classes up to 40 people as we did events such as team building or opening events that had activities for customers to participate.

I got the chance to work with multiple teams across various projects and it gave me a good understanding of my role as a designer. It also exposes me to other areas of the company, so I got a crash course in how the organization works and how everyone’s roles contribute to a bigger goal.
I got the chance to take direction from a creative director, and really see the design process from start to finish l got access to cross-department work experience that many new hires don’t have.
I am usually assigned creative tasks like editing/creating posters, cropping players, designing posters, and creating logos. My supervisor foresees all my work process, sketches, or drafts. He will advise me of improvements and/or something that needs to be added into the artwork. We mainly work or Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Our clients are MMU, Team Malaysia (TM) and Hokita. I mostly do event artwork for our clients so that it can put up on their social media.
