Writing is like putting a jigsaw puzzle together. Behind every individual, every brand and every company is a compelling story worth telling. Hence, my purpose in life is to find words to express those voices in the most inspiring way possible. So what's my story? Here is how I become who I am today:
Like everyone else, I was schooled under the conventional education system where A's are king, and Bs are labour. My essay writing skills have earned me recognition from both teachers and peers. Growing up in an Asian minded family, I was silly to assume that Law was the only route for people who excel in writing. However, things were not that one-sided in reality.
In college, I thought my writing was great. Turns out, it was ridiculous in other people's eyes. I was told by my college teacher that my essay has no common sense. I got rejected from taking English Literature in college. My insecurities crept in. My beliefs were shaken, and I question if Law school was ever meant for me.
So I made it to Law school, but I was still insecure from the past. University was the time I regained my confidence. I participated in networking functions, student organizations, and media internships. That's when I first started to learn content creation.
Once I stepped into the working world, I was balancing my first job as a Publicist and freelancing at the side for extra income. Gradually, my love for creating content grew immensely and I followed my instinct to leave my first job for further exploration.
I ran events, managed social media content, written websites for SMEs and traveled to Singapore. Now, I finally discovered my calling.
I combine my creativity and result-driven attitude to bring the best result for my clients. My clients to date include BMS Road Tax Renewal, Baby Mart, Yong Kang TCM, and International Community School Singapore.
