I started as a copywriter but soon held the title of Content Strategist after three months. My work week included planning and creating digital marketing campaigns, scheduling and posting content, and managing the social media platforms for clients—working closely with the in-house designers, and communicating with clients as often as necessary. On top of that, I wrote and strategised for advertisement copies, website copies, and blog posts, with search engine optimization and digital marketing in mind.

I was the sole writer and editor for Disney Princess and My Little Pony books and magazines, and have previously worked on Barbie, Monster High, Barney, and Hello Kitty as well. I wrote pre-school and promotional materials under license from Fisher-Price, Hasbro, Iconix, and RoiVisuals, for companies like Nestle, Anmum, and Abbott Nutrition. I also managed the publication of Disney novelty in Malaysia and Singapore—working closely with Disney SEA with the acquisition of properties. As the only in-house writer, copywriting for marketing, branding, and proposals were done by me. Upon my resignation, I was contracted as a freelance writer and editor from September 2017 to November 2018.
