About Me
Harni Jonet has worked in Malaysian art industry for almost 15 years. She has been appointed as an Exhibition Designer, Business Development Executive, and Assistant to Gallery Manager in different corporations before holding a position as Gallery Manager at Galeri Chandan from 2014 to May 2018.
The advantages of working in Galeri Chandan are the opportunity for her to work closely with other team members. Her expertise are in consulting, and also constructing and building under Galeri Chandan's main subsidiary, Three Hundred Sixty Sdn Bhd; a design, development and management company which has been established themselves with tremendous achievement namely Institut Jantung Negara (IJN), San Francisco Coffee, Skypark Subang, Unitar City Campus, KL and to name a few. It has become a challenge for her to become a multidisciplinary person where she diversified the possibility of art to not only in a commercial gallery but other spaces as well.
She has worked along The Malaysian Consulate in Islamabad, Pakistan, The National Cancer Institute Malaysia and Hospital Shah Alam where she manages special projects in supplying and installing artworks at the said institution/corporation. Under her supervision, Galeri Chandan has been selected to present a proposal for The Malaysian Consulate in Moscow, Rusia, Hotel Perdana Kota Bharu under the PNB (Pertubuhan Nasional Berhad) and the Tabung Haji Hotel & Convention Centre.
She has also becoming a key role in a few "eco-system" projects organized by Galeri Chandan like Malaysian Emerging Artist Award, Nafas Residency Program, Kembara Jiwa, The Future of Malaysian Art and many more.
Currently pursuing her passions in consulting few art projects freelancing, namely Publilka Art Show 2018, Visual Art Pitch 2018, Malaysian Emerging Artist Award 2019-2020 and Nando's: Expand Your PERImeters Exhibition 2019, and more to come.
